  • Can you tell me more about Suboxone?

Suboxone is the brand name for buprenorphine and naloxone medications. It is the most well-known and is often referred to when talking about opioid treatment medications. But there are many other brands that are offered, as well as generic forms.

A Suboxone Clinic is a medical office that specializes in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Addiction. A doctor will prescribe medication, which usually consists of Suboxone, Zubsolv, or some form of buprenorphine/naloxone combination therapy.

A "Suboxone Doctor" is a doctor who is licensed to prescribe buprenorphine and/or buprenorphine/naloxone medications.

  • Do you accept insurance or provide payment plans?

We do NOT accept personal or commercial health insurance. Although we do provide a Prior Authorization for your insurance to pay for your monthly prescription, we will also provide a super bill, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment plans with this program. Payment is due at the time services are rendered. Only cash or credit will be accepted; no checks.

  • When can I start treatment and how often do I come in?

If you are in severe withdrawal, you can start taking your medication right away.  If not, then you must wait to avoid precipitated withdrawal.

In the first month, we see you for your initial intake assessment, and then you return in 1 week for a follow-up evaluation.  Then we see you one time a month every month thereafter.

  • How long does outpatient treatment last?

There is not a one size fits all approach for addiction therapy.  Studies show that the average length of time in a MAT program is 12-24 months.  There are a lot of factors that dictate your treatment duration and we can customize a plan that best fits your goals.

  • Do I need to do counseling?

Your recovery treatment program will be much more successful when you couple it with counseling.  We will give you local resources to help you find a good option. But it is not mandatory for our program.
